Beautiful, crisp early winter day with temperatures around -2°C, but still no snow. That is supposed to arrive tomorrow, though.

The blip shows one of the classical panoramas of Munich in backlight from the top of Monopteros in Englischer Garten. From left to right you can see the silhouettes of the smoke stacks of CHP South the cupola of Bayerische Staatskanzlei (Bavarian State Chancellery), the bell tower of the church of St. Peter (also known as Alter Peter), the bell tower of the New City Hall, the twin towers of Munich's cathedral Frauenkirche, and the twin towers and cupola of Theatinerkirche.
