the road home

This afternoon we headed home from the Thanksgiving festivities at Mom's. An uneventful drive thankfully. We reached Altamont Pass just as the last traces of sunset were fading; pretty surreal with the windmills stretching for miles. Every time I drive through I tell myself I will make a trip just to photograph the area... maybe soon.
