People for me
A quiet morning with Jude in her studio, reflecting on what moves us and what doesn’t. She read me a Rilke poem about stardust and hallowed ground. She said it's nature for her, people not so much. I think she said something about the honesty of persimmons, the practicality of birds. I said people for me: the heartbreak, the self-doubt, the attempts and failures, the desire to create and to connect, the broken connections. People for me.
