The Elves

This morning when we came down stairs Skipper the elf was holding a letter. He had brought small elf friends for Chickpea and Monkey but they had to find them. With some helpful hints (due to time constraints) the elves were found, unwrapped, and loved. They do look an awful lot like the magic elves from last year. Hmmmmm... Monkey doesn't look impressed but he is. I think.

After the elf excitement we went to Home Ed group. I made an arctic small world play tray with Snow Dough, arctic animals, people and other extra bits and pieces that others brought. The kids LOVED it! Unfortunately it wasn't the easiest to clean and left it's trace EVERYWHERE! So I'm guessing we will be doing some carpet shampooing sometime in the near future. Fun. The best laid plans... We also made tin lanterns but now I can't find the tealites!
