They Came . . . .

The gales, the high tides, the thunder and lightning storms, the power cuts, they all came but thankfully there was no real damage and all was well. This is taken through the sitting room window about two hours before high water. Already there is seaweed on the glass, the air was full of salt and foam and bits of it!

Seeing the news later in the day on the TV I can see how lucky we were . . .
