Stories of Christmas

Thursday was school and work. Nothing new there. Dance class in the evening, and then home to prepare the bunnies for even colder weather to come.

I grabbed this shot of Sugar opening one of her advent books. This is another "count down to Christmas" activity we do each year. We have many Christmas/Winter themed picture books in our home. I hide them away all year, then pull them out after Thanksgiving, wrap 24 of them, and put them under Sugar Bear's Christmas tree in her room. Each night from December 1st-Christmas day, she chooses one at bedtime, opens it up....and delights in the surprise of which story we will read together that night. It is such a fun activity for us. Sometimes there is a new book thrown in as an even bigger surprise. Fun times for sure. We are really getting into the spirit of the season.
