December highlights

As seems to have been the way of things over recent weekends, both Saturday and Sunday have been full of stuff to do and the remainder of the time have felt so exhausted from the the previous week its been difficult to find the effort to get out and blip. The weekdays have been very tiring - just mentally exhausting. Its taken great effort to just sit and watch telly.

Today Tilly insisted that I take her out immediately after lunch (in fact a late brunch - bacon butties - yummy). The weather had been glorious sunshine all day to that point but in the seconds before I stepped out the door, it went dark, the wind started blowing a gale and its started raining/snowing/hailing! Just my luck.

We persisted for twenty minutes (Tilly clearly somewhat reluctantly) when the cloud broke and sun streamed down with the previous stormy clouds off in the distance. Despite the incoming weather I'd still stuffed a camera in may pocket so was able to capture quite a few lovely low lit scenes with the dark clouds behind. Its not a new location, but, any port in a storm!

Tomorrow has me doing the supermarket run for Christmas - I think I'll be there before 8. Then off later to pick up Jamie's Christmas present which was ordered somewhat late - i.e. yesterday. My present arrived in the post yesterday too. Everything now accounted for and ready for Wednesday.
