Bee path

It has become very dangerous just walking to & fro around outside so Angie started clearing the 2cm or so of hard packed ice. First with a metal pick/scraper and then brushing it to the side. She didn't forget the bee path.

It's getting warmer but the ground is still frozen. The condensation which was coming out of one hive has now ceased, probably as we are not having such temperature swings. However now a considerable amount is coming out of the "dead hive" - I guess the condensation had frozen when they died and is now melting.

Still haven't contacted MrB but hope he may be around the next few days.
