Below the Castle, which has commanded the view for around 1000 years -a few floods haven't harmed it- lies an upturned pedalo. Normally there are also about 6/7 rowing boats as well, so one must assume they have been swept away down river.
The town itself seems to have recovered remarkably well, from the terrible flooding it has experienced over the past few days. There are still quite a few "private enterprises" in among the national store chains here and one hopes they haven't sustained too much damage to their livelihoods.
