So the year starts like this...

...very rainy, very windy but quite mild.
I went for a walk (and a blip hunt) as I had not left the house for 2 days and was starting to become a little insular... (all food has been rationalised, the washing and ironing done and Myki notched up a usual week's worth of lap access whilst I was reading!)

The boys were ensconced in front of their computers...

The streets were deserted apart from one friendly elderly lady walking her unwilling little dog. It was 2:30pm when I took this and lights were going on because of the gloom, but it was strangely pleasant in a soggy British sort of way.

Since then the wind has really started gusting and the windows are rattling.
The rain has not let up all day...
