English paper piecing

The type of patchwork I learnt as a child, but having progressed to American style haven't done any for many years. For some reason I felt the desire to do some this evening and I am amazed how good it felt. I've sat on the settee and listened to some Elgar and really enjoyed the simplicity of it. This is hopefully going to be a small wall hanging for next Christmas via being an entry in the Bingley show in July.
