Good bye, Christmas decorations!
Tomorrow we go back to school. We really enjoyed our 2-week vacation celebrating Christmas. Our tradition has been that we put away all of our Christmas decorations before we go back to school. So after church today, the kids and I packed away Christmas town homes, ornaments, and our tree. Every year, without fail, we get sad when we pack things away. It never ceases to amaze us how fast time flies from the moment we decorate and wait for Christmas to the moment we are putting things back.

One night in December, our son wanted to cut out snowflakes and hang them from our living room ceiling. It was really fun sitting around the table, figuring out how to cut different designs and laughing.
I'm leaving the snowflakes up for a few more weeks while we remember all that is good about Christmas.
