George the dog on a walk

Now, this does not look like much - well, it's not that attractive a scene. The dog is nice - good old George, he always looks good in a photo :-)

BUT, come back in April or May and that whole dead area will be covered in the most splendid carpet of bluebells, and what looks dull and dead and ordinary will be transformed into the most beautiful scene you could imagine of wonderful gentle blues.

It's similar to life at times I guess - sometimes life seems dead and dull and without colour or hope... but give it time, and even the most hopeless of situations can be transformed into something of beauty. You just have to wait and keep persevering and keep building whatever it is you're working towards, and then one day, things change and new things happen and something good appears.

So come back in April and I'll hopefully have the same shot - but with a much better view.
