Hola Galapagos!

This shot was taken on our journey from Galapagos airport to the bay where we boarded our home for the next three nights. Within the first hour of being on the islands we had seen sea lions, iguanas, red crabs, frigate birds and a sea turtle. After a buffet lunch on our catamaran I felt a bit nauseas so I had a nap before we reached our snorkelling destination for the afternoon - Punta Carrion. The water was filled with plankton which made it a bit cloudy but we still saw lots of weird and wonderful fish.

I had another nap before a pre-dinner cocktail and briefing for the next few days. Our guide Fabian told us the history of the Galapagos Islands (which I still find fascinating every single time!). This place is unimaginably beautiful.
