A battered but cherished friend

Today my faithful chair which has put up with my weight for over nine years was to be taken away for repair and restoration. I currently sink so low in it it takes a pulley system to ease me out of the chair.

I was so looking forward to this I thought I would mark it with a blip and follow this up in a week or two with the newly refurbished version. I prepared the photo, spent ages trying to get the best effect and uploaded. As I was uploading phone call comes from agency saying their van broken down and will have to cancel. So frustrated!

Anyway decided to keep the image and though it will be a few more weeks I shall post when new life has been generated into this good friend.
