Cake of the World!!

The oldest is looking at weather in geography at the moment and apparently it was cake day today..mmmmmm likely story!!

Anyway last night he made a sponge cake - raspberry jam in the middle and then spent what seemed like ages dyeing icing and creating the Northern hemisphere's ocean and then the land locked areas of the North.....

When my youngest saw it the remarks were...where's Greenland!!...and the reply was - "I ran out of space!!".......just as well he wasn't involved with the original design - and apparently it went down a treat with his classmates today...and did Dad get to eat any..nope just the leftover bits of sponge that were cut off to create Europe, Asia and North America...oh and bits off the icing too..
