If you have a delicate nature turn away now! My hubby's bendy toes have had surgery and the stitches were taken out today. The little blood blobs at the end of the toes are where rods have been inserted, tendons have been cut and joints fused. The foot can't be used - for standing or walking, for another two weeks, then a further two weeks of gentle weight baring and then back to the surgeon for physio and possible splinting. Then after all that his other foot has to be done!
