More progress..

..it started off grey and dull and windy this morning, so after sorting out a few accounting jobs, decided to do a bit more pointing in the shed. I've nearly finished ripping out the old mortar, and have blown it all down with the air-line. A dusty mucky job, but now ready for re-pointing.

AJG deliveries turned up mid afternoon with a can of Cuprinol I had ordered. So I took a few minutes off, and went and treated my new strawberry planter. Made of sarking boards, there's 4 troughs 6" wide and deep, and 4 foot long. With the ends made of two boards, the 4 troughs are mounted a foot apart above each other.. I feel another blip coming on!!

To my amazement when I shut the hens up, the solar panels have produced 2.4 kW today making it the sunniest day of the year so far..

Just cooked scrambled egg, beans and mushrooms on toast, and then a Village Hall committee meeting at 8..
