Over the rooftops

Perusing The Facebook (as my dear ma will insist on calling it) I spotted mention of the ISS

grabbed my phone...pass due in 4 minutes.

So I thought...pleeeeeeeeeeeeenty of time as I sauntered for a comfort stop, perused and changed the lenses, found the tripod, the remote and then shoes and daundered out

Only to find the ISS had failed to wait and was well across the sky....so no time for trial shots, ISO selection, exp comp....just winged out the tripod legs whirled around to set manual focus on the lights across the bay and bish bash bosh...you have ten seconds of the last half minute!!
