8bit

Dad came down to the makespace earlier, is putting together a little 8-bit computer. Interesting fact I learnt the other day in history and philosophy of maths: Leibniz was the guy who invented binary. Weirdly, I thought it would have been more recent, and dad thought it would have been older. It'e one of those things that seems to be very useful for computers, but not much more.
