A Favorite Professor
I was saddened when the announcement came through the college email today. Dr. Huang was one of my favorite professors when I was a student in community college. He was very complimentary when I joined the faculty several years later.
He lived to be only 79, which seems too young. I don't know what the causes of death were.
He was also an artist and numerous times we had seen his art work. He was born in China and came to the U.S. when he was 9 years old and had a rare kind of TB. He has quite an interesting history.
I hope the celebration of his life will be scheduled at a time when I can attend.
Good night from Southern California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
