Secret Project

For the last few months I've spoken of a secret project that I was working on and how one day it would be shown as my blip. Today is that day. The people you see above are Josh and Courtney who's wedding it is tomorrow and who have honoured me by asking that I be the best man. I drew this portrait of them over as part of their wedding present. It was done in HB grey lead and with no tracing other than a simple outline of their figures. I was very happy with how it turned out, especially the faces as any missed detail of the faces can make them look like whole other people.

We had the rehearsal dinner in the evening which is when I was able to gift Josh and Court with the drawing. It got a good reaction, with Court exclaiming "Oh my God! That's amazing! Can I go show everyone?" It was a nice start to what will be a big weekend.
