Odd collections 4: Mugshots

Here it is my fourth collection. Title courtesy of an original idea by Welshmaid50. I have assembled the collection in conjunction with some of my favourite teas as I am overwhelmingly a tea drinker. Can you guess my favourite tea? It is in the photo but it is not obvious and you need to read Mandarin to read it from the packet. Five stars to anyone who succeeds.

There are a number of discernible subthemes:
- There are a small number of Barnsley football club mugs. These represent various triumphs over the years, the small number reflects the fact that those triumphs are few and far between.
- Cricket themed mugs including my favourite large red mug from Lords.
-Yorkshire-themed mugs including a mug of Emmerdale bought when the cast came to play cricket at my cricket club, Tickhill, many years ago.
-There is a small collection of Mr Men mugs actually bought by my son's girlfriend. It is a growing collection and can be seen on the left of the picture
-Work-related mugs. I have collected various mugs from conferences and similar events and they are scattered around the collection

This Collection is typical of my other collections in that there is very little of worth discernible amongst them. I have been collecting these mugs for around 40 years and now have oround fifty on display here. My PGTips chimp, though a little faded, guards my mugs and prevents them coming to harm! No mugs were injured in the making of this photo.

Anyone for a cup of tea. Spot a favourite mug? Let me know and there will be a story behind it!

Next Friday I think its time for the largest of the collections - even more worthless, naff and useless than the previous ones, the turtles, the miniature ports, and the shot glasses last week. Enjoy! Best viewed LARGE!
