Window: St Mary's Church, Rushden

Thank you very much for your stars, comments and hearts towards my Friday's blip of Meeting Place at St Pancras.

Today's blip is a window of our local 13th century church in Rushden. I have blipped this church before when I first started on blipfoto. The history of the church and how it was built and extended over time is described on the local heritage site.

It is a very picturesque building in our town and set on the top of a hill - as if it is keeping a watchful eye on the town. When I see the spire from a distance, I know that I have almost reached home.
