A new planet called Planet Dahlia

Mono Monday challenge - not food - BUT WAIT (have now been reliably informed by JoPi that dahlias are edible - who knew? : )

Took a photo of a dahlia and thought it looked like a new planet, didn't realise we were supposed to be doing food and haven't got time to think of another blip tonight! As it turns out it doesn't matter, and I've learned something too!
