Roll out the Barrel
I had a better day at work today, things started to fall into place a bit more, and this afternoon I got given a tour of the office and introduced to all the Solicitors and other secretaries. I can't remember who anyone is, other than those I'm working with, but at least they'll know who I am and I'm sure I'll start to put names to faces over time. I also got the slightly later bus this morning and still got to work early, but I didn't manage to get home any earlier.
At lunch time I went for a walk down to the beach with my camera, and as I crossed the road I noticed this horse drawn dray coming up the road. It's from Harveys Brewery in Lewes, and I've seen pictures of it before and hoped to see it at some point. I managed to take a few shots as they were passing which I've put on flickr. Alan like the one that's taken side on as you can see the barrels, but I preferred this one of them coming towards me.
So Blip done, I then had a walk with one of my colleagues along the promenade and we stopped for a drink at a beach cafe. It's been another lovely sunny day, and there were so many people out and about, but the lunch hour seems to be the quickest hour of the day and no sooner had we sat down it was time to head back to the office!
I'm struggling with a sore throat and a cold at the moment and my voice has almost gone today, so with that and the adjustment to going back to full time work, it's no wonder I feel tired. But it'll soon be the weekend, and I can't wait to get that Friday feeling :-)
