Baby steps

The wee man took his first solo step today! Just one from the chair in his room over to Nikki but very impressive nonetheless and I was there to witness it too. He had a tiny whinge straight after, as if to say 'why did you make me do that, I wasn't ready! ' I dare say it might be a while before he braves it again.

We reverted back to just the one nap again today, meaning he was in bed by about 5:30pm. Despite a rattle of a cough, he was in great spirits this morning but he definitely woke on the wrong side of bed this afternoon as nothing we did seemed to placate him. We tried playing with his toys, singing, car rides, a visit to the Modern Art Gallery in Dean Village, walks around town in the stroller. Nothing would soothe him. In the end we opted for dinner and an early night. Nikki and I will be right behind him today!

Inspired by tearaway's blip from the other day, here's a shot of our wee man in the garden from this morning, picking up dirt and offering it to Daddy. Thanks son x
