Hotel Continentale, Trieste

A change of scene and countries. Hire car to Trieste. Not much cat swinging room here, but what do you expect for a decent hotel right on one of the pedestrian streets in the centre of Trieste.

A narrow bed, and - as so often - impossibly hot when I opened the door. The cooling system doesn't seem to work, so I've opened the window for now (I'm on some sort of internal courtyard). It will have to be closed later, but for now at least the room is cool, if noisy with an airconditioner going nearby.

Just the one night here. Offski again tomorrow.
