Alcohol free-zone
Back to the training-regime today!
Managed 5-miles along my favourite canal ... and my time/pace was slightly quicker than recently: obviously need to go and spend a few days in the South of France, more often ;-)
So, today's figures:
Date: 11/03/14
Height: 6 ft 4inches
Weight: 15stone 4pounds (down a bit at last!)
Distance run: 5-miles
Pace: 9.5-mins/mile
As well as all the running, swimming, cycling - I've also now boldly (or foolishly!) made another training-commitment ...
... my next alcoholic drink will be the one that my Dad hopefully buys me when I complete the Edinburgh Marathon, on Sunday 25th May!
Close friends, and colleagues, will know only too well that this latest commitment is probably (no - definitely!) going to be the hardest part of my remaining training-programme to actually stick rigidly too :-(
... but, I'm determined to do so, and am sure it'll help on the 25th May.
