An early arrival

These charming little Pasque flowers have been blooming for a week or so now, although (as their name suggests) they should come out for  Easter.
Looking back at my journal, I see that I blipped them twice last year, both times in April. They stayed tightly in bud for ages and finally flowered in mid April.  What a contrast in weather it has been from last Spring!
