Match meeting

Just home from our spring match meeting (Omagh & District Canine Club) in Victoria Bridge.
Dogs are drawn out in pairs, the winner goes through to the next round, eventually you end up with a winner & runner up. It is a good way of socialising young dogs before their 1st show. We used to have 40 dogs or more at these, but a sign of the times we now consider 16 dogs to be a good turnout. Everyone enjoyed the supper (tea, sandwiches & traybakes) that the committee provided afterwards, it went well.
Rather than post a photo of the winners of the puppy match (a old lovely Sealyham) & Open match (a cute French Bulldog), I preferred this casual shot of a 4 month old Labrador puppy, so cute & she was sitting still (it just shows how well socialised she already is)
