April Fool

This is a bit of a fiddle really. It's a self-portrait taken by my Dad in a shop window in Berkeley Square, i think in 1951. My Dad was proud of being an April Fool, having been born on 1st April 1917.
When I was little my parents lived in Bethnal Green in the East End of London and my father was just about the only man in that neighbourhood who could be seen pushing a pram. He used to take me out for a stroll while he prowled the streets with his Rollie twin lens reflex camera.
