Momordica charantia.
My Editor and I make forays periodically to a farm market which could aptly be named "The United Nations of Produce". This emporium is located in a town which many diverse ethnic communities call home. "The Farm" tries to cater to all their cuisines. This is a fascinating place to shop not only for the variety and quality of the produce, but for the folks (and their languages) who come there. Today's Blip is of a basket of Indian bitter melons (Momordica charantia), certainly the strangest-looking critters on display.
