Life through the lens...

Young Dancer

Our last day.

I just loved this bronze statue of a Young Dancer by Enzo Plazzotta 1921- 1981
He was born in Venice but spent all his working life in London.
This statue was erected by Westminster Council in association with the Plazzotta estate, in 1988.
It sits opposite The Royal Opera House, in Broad Court.
I could have cropped the photo, but I liked it with the row of red telephone boxes down the side!

After a walk round, and down to the river, we met up with MrC's brother and his wife, who brought along their little granddaughter M.
She is a real cutie! see here
Couldn't resist buying her a rabbit cushion from the Disney Shop!
As soon as I put her down, she was off back in for something else!
Had lunch with them in Covent Garden, and then it was back to Kings Cross ( by bus!) and the train back to Leeds.

What a great few days! Really enjoyed it, in spite of the crowds! Just not used to so many people! ( Paris was much quieter when we went in December!)
Anyhow we have both decided we are going back again soon!
