MonoMonday: Metal

This is a chest X-ray of a dog.....with a metal "amplatzer" implant fixing a hole in her heart.

This was put in via a catheter through an artery in her leg last November. We think this was the first time in the world that this procedure had been done to fix an 'aortoatrial fistula' in a dog.

We are super pleased with her!!
