good start to our long weekend away

We used our Tesco vouchers for a nice hotel getaway. This is Breadsall Priory - a Marriott hotel in Derbyshire. Beautiful spot, beautiful building. And the sun was still shining when we arrived.

We're a bit miffed that Marriott is no longer going to be part of the Tesco voucher scheme after July this year.

When we arrived, our room was not really what we were hoping for, as it was in a newer extension, and looked onto the car park. So we requested an upgrade to one of the premium rooms in the old Mews, and in fact with the complimentary in-room wifi and free film each night, the net excess was only £5 per night more! What a bargain!
