Honister Pass
Fastaperture and I got up early and headed even further north. A marvellous early morning, with the sun in the sky and little traffic on the roads. At Keswick we went up to the Castlerigg Stone Circle, then past Derwent Water and over Honister Pass to Buttermere. Later in the morning the light was not so special but at the slate mine at the top of Honister we made a stop. My favourite shot of the day was this one taken there.
