Please Mr Postman

Went on a walk today with LooseCanon and several other friends/ blippers. There was a bit of competitive blipping going on. We nearly came to blows over some amazing mistletoe. Being the generous soul I am I'll leave it to someone else to blip. If they don't do it I'll be annoyed!

We walked around the villages in Worcestershire called the Lenches . There are five.
Ab Lench, Church Lench, Atch Lench, Sherrifs Lench and Rous Lench.

This Victorian post box is in Rous Lench and was added to the village by the Reverend W K W Chafy Chafy, who acquired the village from Sir Charles Henry Rouse Boughton in 1876. So it dates from around then.

We walked about seven or eight miles, even adding an extra bit on to include Atch Lench, so we could say we'd done them all, only to find we'd forgotten about Sherrifs Lench, which is a bit further away. So we haven't ticked them all off . We'll have to go back and do that as a separate walk. It won't be a problem, it's beautiful round there.
