Jackdaw

Had a quite day in today, just felt like a day of doing nothing much was needed. Managed a bit more gardening in between the showers and feel happy it looks tidy again.

This Jackdaw was taken in the garden first thing. I realised I hadn't blipped one yet and whilst they aren't many peoples favourite bird there is something intriguing I like about them. They fly off at the slightest movement which most times is a blessing because they are usually noisy and squabbling (and we thought we left that behind when our kids left home :) ). They are certainly a nuisance next door as they have nested under their roof tiles !!
