Mum In The Garden

Mum and Dad moved to this house in 1963, so she's been working in this garden for over 50 years. To me, it has a lovely wild and natural feel about it; it's not big but it's wonderfully varied. It's a haven for birds, with lots of cover for them in bushes and trees. Mum is a born gardener and also has a strong artistic sense, so the garden is full of colour and variety. Even though she finds it more difficult to get around now, and her eyesight isn't very good, it's still one of her greatest pleasures in life - that, and looking at other people's gardens to see what's going on there!
