Orienteering at Plumpton Rocks

Plumpton Rocks is a small area of millstone grit rocks and woodland set around a lake.

This was the venue for a days training with the Yorkshire Junior Orienteering Squad. Children from around the region were here to work on their navigation skills.

This group of young people are a delight to work with. A really great way to spend a Saturday.

You can see some of the rock pedestals as one of the Dad's tries to keep pace with the youngsters!
