The Gatehouse, Battle Abbey

Back to the classroom for a history lesson, the year 1066 and the battle between King Harold of England and Duke William of Normandy. An interesting walk around the abbey and grounds at Battle and then on to Hastings for the afternoon and a walk around the ruins of Hastings castle.
