Three little beauties

Perhaps not the best of the photos taken at the artificial island on my way home from work but the only shot in which I managed to capture all three of the baby Coots that have hatched so far. There were still a few unhatched eggs in the nest but I was unable to count how many exactly when the adult got up briefly.

From what I could tell during a brief glimpse before I left the island, there were no goslings yet in the swan's nest. I shall most likely not be able to go there again before Monday so I'm hoping not all of the eggs will have hatched before then.
