A FAMOUS VISITOR !

Look who is here ! None other than "A CYCLING GRANNY" with 'little h'. Now how exciting is that ? After the heady days of yesterday when the 'arty photographic group' ran round like headless chooks, blipping arty farty objects way over my head, we have had a quiet serene morning. Oh I did have my knights in shining armour for morning coffee, because they think I make a fine line of shortbread ! After they'd departed, we went round to the back courtyard & I persuaded C. G. & little h to pose under my Acer Senkaki, which is a riot of colour. (Notice my Cardiocrinum in the background- flukey !)

It has been a very exciting morning. C. G. is so modest & I love talking to her. It was a bit like having the Queen drop in !

PostScript: I've just put the phone down after a twenty minute phone call (20 !) from Walking Wombat1 in AUSSIE. Can you believe that ? We discussed everything under the sun, except seizures & sex, & it was all quite wonderful. She sounds a very caring, loving person. It really made my day. NO, I am not on the Glenmorangie !! But I'm on such a high, it feels like it.
