What Do I Do Now?

For the second time in four days the chain came off my saw and I can’t fix it myself. I used to service my old one, but this saw is more tricky. This is so frustrating. Due to the prolonged period of wet or foggy weather I am weeks behind in my woodcutting schedule. Now this keeps happening. There’s nothing for it but to wait for my son to put the chain back on.

Instead I rummaged through the big outdoor heap (about 7 cubic metres) for logs short enough to be stacked. That was a much more tiring job than sawing the wood. At least I was outside on such a beautiful day.
