Edinburgh Rooftops

Left BB fast asleep in bed this morning – an extra day off school for an in service training day. Granny and granddad were in charge. Back to work for me. Had to go out for some fresh air at lunchtime to clear my head. Didn’t go far, and the views from Calton Hill were excellent. Here are the rooftops of Edinburgh, looking towards Edinburgh Castle.

Got home to a good report – BB had been a very well-behaved boy all day. Unfortunately that all went wrong when I reappeared. Eventually managed to get him to do his reading and got him in bed. His maths homework will have to wait another day.

Just back from a walk round the byways with my dad. A lovely evening – though not as mild as last night.
