The Prince of Wales (3 in a series)

The nature of this area has changed beyond all recognition since the 'Prince' was opened. The area was home to many working class people for whom the local must have been an important social hub.

Now the area is in the heart of the commuter belt; easier to buy a drink at Marks & Spencer in London or at Sainsbury's when you get back into East Grinstead.

Shame, it was a nice pub to visit when I was younger! Now its up for auction I wonder if it will become (yet) another block of flats or an 'up-market' town house or two.
