Swanning along.

Today I cycled into Home Park to see if the swans had their babies.I fear that the cygnets must have perished as the nest was empty and the swans were alone a little way up from the nest.
I went along the Long Water down towards Hampton Court Palace. There are two Egyptian Geese families, one with eleven and the other with ten goslings. They are all rushing about flapping their wings as are the ones in Bushy Park. I love watching them. It will not be long before they fledge.
I rode home along the river. I stopped to take some shots of Canada geese and their babies when I heard this swan as it was flying along the other side of the river near the Kingston Bridge.
