Entrance to Watchet harbour, Somerset, at low tide. Severn Estuary beyond and Welsh coast in distance.

Weather: mainly cloudy, occasional sun, low wind speed, mild, moderately high humidity, forecast rain later.

Hard to imagine that a few months ago in the winter storms the tide was hurtling spectacularly massive and forceful waves at the protective walls, which held out undamaged. Severn looks like a millpond today - at least from the shore
