1940's Weekend, Ramsbottom

Seemed stockings galore at the 1940's celebration in Ramsbottom, there was Beewriter, Lancashire Lass and myself that went along to the celebrations it was a colourful and spectacular array of vintage clothed people ( next year I intend to dress up too) it was so much fun.....we also paid for platform tickets so we could take photograhs of the steam train and people on the platform.

Lots of people got into the spirit of the day,,,,,dressing up as American GI soldiers
German officers, spotted dressed ladies wearing beautiful hats and (fox furs still with the paws and head attached)....whole families were dressed up, mum, Dad and 3 a Children.....they all looked brilliant.
